Live Bar, December 9th recently, Garnett talked about joining Celtics in the Knuckleheads program.
Garnett said: “In fact, I want to join hands with Kobe in Los Angeles. He went to China at that time and I didn’t get through his phone. Before I made my decision, I talked with Tyron Lu and Billups and they gave me advice. I need to choose between the sun, the Lakers and the Celtics. The Warriors were too young at that time. The Lakers and Celtics were the teams I really considered.”
In 2007, Ray Allen and Garnett joined the Green Army and formed the three giants with Pierce. The next year, they defeated the Lakers 4-2 in the finals and won the championship.
