Live broadcast, December 8th. Today, the Celtics acting head coach Ma Zula was interviewed by Marc J. Spears, Andscape.
Q: What do you think when you know that you will be the new temporary head coach of the Celtics?
Mazula: “I have always believed that I will become an NBA coach. I believe in myself, but I didn’t know it would happen so fast, and I didn’t expect it to happen in Boston.”
Q: The Celtics have a strong championship history and some great head coaches. Will this increase the pressure?
Mazula: “There is no real pressure. To me, this is just a responsibility. I am responsible for all the Celtics players, including the staff, and do my best to win another flag for this team and this organization. You can’t stop until this happens. To me, this is just a responsibility. When I am at such a moment, the only thing I can focus on is how I perform the next step.”
At present, the Celtics ranked first in the East with a record of 20 wins and 5 losses.
