Live broadcast, December 7 news rocket defender Kevin junior-PROTONIC talked about his personal performance this season in an interview with The Athletic this week. He admitted frankly that he would first want to score in some sessions last season, but what he is thinking about now is boosting his teammates.
“Last season, I always entered the competition with the mentality that I wanted to focus more on a certain aspect. In some sessions, I would say, ‘I want to be a scorer and be more aggressive,’ while in other sessions, I would say I want to be a leader and let my teammates open early.” Little Kevin-PROTONIC said, “Now, I will enter the game with a similar mentality, but in order for us to win, I will try my best to be the best me. Compared with before, this kind of mentality can make me find a balance more easily.”
“It is to find my balance on the court, when should I shoot, when do I need to help my teammates, and where will my teammates appear. I’m just learning how to read defense. I feel better in this aspect. I can pass the ball to my teammates more easily. I will also read the opponent’s defense, not just pay attention to the opponent’s defense of my players. Especially watching low-level players, it is much easier for me to read the game.” Little Kevin-PROTONIC said.
“In the final analysis, I am the Houston Rockets starting point guard. I will not fight for anyone except my teammates. I know a lot of people have a lot of opinions on me, but this has always been the case since I became the focus of the spotlight. I have been used to such noise. I just want to be the best player and the best person of the Houston Rockets.” Little Kevin-PROTONIC finally said.
